What is COW?

Chemistry on Wheels, aka, COW is a peer learning programme conceptualised by a young mind, Hrithvik Pullagurla, along with some of his likeminded friends, which is designed to connect advanced chemistry experiments with the high school students. We partner with interested higher school students in rural areas surrounding Hyderabad, India to demonstrate chemistry experiments related to academic curriculum for students at schools where the chemistry lab facilities are not adequate. Biophore and its Group Companies extend the facilities, chemicals and other infrastructure for these events. We train the students to effectively use the theoretical chemistry knowledge by virtue of practical experiments aiming at inculcating an enthusiasm and interest to take up Chemistry as their higher education stream.

Our audience include class IX and X students from schools in rural communities where infrastructure for chemistry labs are not adequate. We aim to promote awareness, interest, and enthusiasm to take up Chemistry as their stream of higher education and career. We are always looking to connect with new partners and new audiences in creative ways.
